Gun Ownership Poll

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Obama's new Attorney General Eric Holder has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2nd Amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court's accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

Here's what you need to do:

First - vote on this one.

Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published.

The Question is:

"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

I believe Ben Franklin said men without arms (firearms) are Subjects, Men with arms are citizens. just something to remember.

Yep , and also the government needs a nice little reminder that in the original constitution we were not granted the right to arm our selfs to protect us from our neighbors or theives , its to protect ourselves from the GOVERMENT and insure we always have the means to fight if they push too much ;)

I dread the day they try. It will be one bad day for them. I honestly don't think they could even accomplish it. Think of the things that are illegal, there usually the easiest things to get!?! Lol

Most hard core gun owners dont take these poles because were very private about our guns because when it comes time to take them all from us .. an dont kid your self that time is coming .. we want to hold on to them so there for we dont take place in such poles.. im not trying to sound rude i promise but your not gonna get clear answers from most hard core gun owners .... 3500madmax4x4 I respectfully disagree, most hardcore gun owners round here got a few in the back window and one on the hip. Loud and proud. :thumb:

It's a right. States keep playing with this and it gets old. Getting people to understand that laws against guns only place hardships on law abiding citizens is the difficult part.

I carry legally and often. As often as I can, in fact. I have a personal collection of well over three dozen, some that I 'smithed. I hope more people understand this is more than a debate of rights or allowances. My Grandpa was a Gunsmith and my Dad is a dealer. It's way of life around here.

the gun trade around here is somewhat unregulated...so there are guns bought and sold all the time without record its not uncommon at all...they'll never take or even locate my guns for that matter if this time ever comes...these mountains aint just for climbing:thumb:
