Never really been into games but I picked it up for my PS3 and man it is actually a lot of fun.

If anyone games, you prolly already have it, if your thinking about it though, its worth it.

Steal the pete, its fun to drive and smokes pretty good, lol.

Ive been playing GTA for the last 2 days it is awesome and amzazing how much they stepped it up.

I dont have a 360 or ps3, though i have 2 friends who have 360s, one already got gta4 and the other i have not talked to. im really wanting to go to the ones house who has it to see how good it is. strangely it wasnt hyped up pre-release as much as san andreas was, and from what ive seen online movie and screen shot wise, it looks friggin sweet!

Its pretty sweet, only downside is I dont like how stupidly the cars handle compared to the other GTA's but Im getting used to it. I basically bought a Xbob 360 just for that game.

The cars have no brakes, every attempt to turn leads into a spin out, it just takes some getting used to it is loose, but its still a very solid game its jsut really frustrating trying to run from the cops and your car cant steer. Im getting betting at it though.

wait, theres no longer brakes? wtf is that all about? thats messed up. even the 2D original gta1 and 2 both had brakes, and all up until this one. LAME. makes me not even wanna try and play it. what goods a game that 90% of game involves cars, yet the dam cars dont have brakes?!?!?!?

Lol, they have brakes but just not very good brakes I shoulda said, I've slid into alot of cop cars on accident and all sorts of junk. That and the how you used to be able to fly down the streets hit the e-brake and turn down a 90* side street you cant do anymore you just spin out and do a 180* for the most part.

ah, i see. so basically the system is different, brakes arent done away with all together, just more touchy... you tried perhaps not slamming on the e-brake hard, and only a slight tap or holding it down for less time than usual?

I wish I had a PS3 or XBox 360. I played Vice City and San Andreas, and I enjoyed both. I'd like to try the new one to see how it is. The commercials I've seen for it look pretty sweet.

I picked it up yesterday and got to play about 1 hour. Seems really cool, I'm having a hard time with the controls though. I guess it will come in time.

Love the game , I just like runnong over cops and really everything in my path .

I actually like the new e-brake better than the old one... The old one was too easy to go down a blind alley at 100mph and make that 90 degree turn... The new one you actually have to counter steer and it is more of a drift than a screetch and go.... and the sports cars handle much better... the muscle cars lay a patch anytime you get on it from a dead stop... basically every car handles different. I like the Shafter (Merc S 55 AMG Clone) handles like a boat at slow speeds but really kicks butt when you are haulin bawls

yeah i got to play this for a few minutes on saturday night at the party, and the controls would take a while for me to get used to if i were to play it again...
