Had the GT42R on for a couple of weeks now. All went in pretty easy with PPE Install Kit. Not putting 2nd CP3 on at this stage. Have been trying a few tunes with help from Larry, Simon and Mike (New2LB7) Thanks for the amount of help you guys. This thing really gets into it once its over 2000 rpm - Up until that it sucks - I know how you felt Eric. But with a VVT in front of it, I think it will be a good unit. Looks like thats the next job now. Couple of pics.

Just a bit shy at the moment Simon. Twin cp3s seem to be getting a bad name - but I do notice the twin turboed ones seem to have more success with the twin pumps. I'll leave my other one on the shelf at the present though.....

Sucks as in - "I don't want to go anywhere until I get to 2000 plus" - Driving up Freeway today and pulled out of the Toll Booth same time as a New HSV Holden Maloo Utility. Have a 300kw LS2 in them. He looks at me and we both go together. Mine wont spool up so he gets away at a great rate of knots. I start to pull him in after he gets up to speed and backs off to 100kph. I pull along side him and he looks at me like-"You want another flogging do you?" I smile at him and try and be friendly. He got this agro look and puts his foot into it same time and my old truck just obliterated him. After I slowed back down again he went past me and waved - kinda funny like, with 2 fingers?FAARRK is the only word I know how to explain it Kat -sorry - But this is Awsome power from a stock motor. Just cant get it to get going under 2000 - Boys are working on tuning at the moment, but Im thinking Twins

Your install look's great Mick. You are going to need some fuel to lite that beast. No twin fuelers until you do the bottom end. I've seen what the 42 does in comparison to the A5K. No comparison, it moves a lot more air with the bigger ped. Keep us posted and congrats on a sweet install.
