so i'm searching my truck for a clunk in the front left...
turns out to be a caliper. suggestions on a fix are welcome, sliders seem to be loose.
anyway. i'm under the truck having a peek and i see a wire up by my front diff. just laying there. its got wire loom on it and a yellow tag with what i presume to be a part number in it. its got the number 4050 in it, its about a foot long and i have no idea where it came from or where it goes to.
it looks to be a ground wire.
anyone with info is welcome to chime in.i'm lost.
did a search for a chev part number 4050 and came up with nothing.
thanks fellas.

ok i found where i think one end of it was, hopefully someone can trace it and tell me where the other end goes. one end is from a stud with a nut on the cowl just to the left of the brake booster.
the wire end is still on the stud.(see picture)
if someone can trace this for me it would be great, i just cant seem to find the other end
