Quick question, does anybody know where the ground cable from the driver side firewall goes? I'm in the process of reassembling my motor after replacing my headgaskets and I cannot remember where it went. This is my first time tearing into a duramax so the reassembly process has been fun, I'm sure I'll have a few more questions but this is the only one at the moment

Yep, bolts in to one of the holes on the back of the head. I forget which hole, but it doesn't really matter. Techline doesn't even say:
So just pick a hole?
Alright I'll give it a look, I'm sure I left the bolt in the original hole but can't remember. Thanks
