It can be found if you deal with Guy at SoCal diesel.

I am in the middle of a motor build, and as is the case with any project, I have had my share of problems. I bought rods and pistons from Guy. I took my engine and all my parts to the machine shop to have the block machined and have the rotating assembly balanced, but when I picked the pistons up from the machine shop they had balanced them by drilling into the bottom of the pistons and on 3 of the pistons they actually drilled into the oil cooling galley. My first call was to Guy. The machine shop wanted to weld them and have me run them, but Guy said to not let them do that. I sent him some pics of the pistons. He said they would probably be ok to run as is, but I explained to him my concerns and he talked to the machine shop and explained my position. He gave me a great price on replacement pistons, and the machine shop agreed to pay for them. Then when I was putting the rings on and installing pistons I broke one. I called Guy, and he went to work and had Mahle send me a new ring right away.

Not only is service after the sale excellent, but he talked to me a few times before I bought anything and answered every question I had. He's been great to deal with, and I would suggest anyone building a motor have him on your list of businesses to deal with.

Thanks again Guy!

Out of curiousity, where should a guy remove material when balancing pistons?

x2 to all above. Ive been dealing with Guy the past few months on a very $$ motor build and everything came out awesome, even though we are a distance apart. Meeting me on the weekend, after hours, etc no problm. Emails early morning or late night not an issue.

If you need any services or parts Guy offers, you are missing out if you choose not to use him :happy2:

It's always a pleasure to deal with Guy. I email an order, it ships same day. You give him a call, he's always more than happy to let you bend his ear. It's not often that you get that service these days, keep up the good work Guy.
