GPU trick.

Not sure why this works, but if your GPU use is not 99%, open up Google Chrome and watch what happens.

I discovered this accidently last week. It can boost your points up to 20%.

Also, for now, you will make more points with -advmethods OFF.

No kidding. 3 failed on my system and I'm only doing about 9500 right now on the GPU.

6 trashed WU so far. If it keeps happening I'll shut down the GPU client. Might be for science but if it keeps dropping them I'm not doing anything to help. I have cranked up the fan on the vid card to see if that will help or not.

Here's something strange: since I started getting the 6800 WU and the GPU PPD has gone down the PPD on the SMP has gone up. From about 3.6k to 8.5k.

Seems cranking up the fan on the video card helped. Its 43% through the 6800 WU now. The last 6 that it failed on it never made it past 10 or 15% before failing. I guess I'll see in the morning if it runs or not.
