Haha thanks.... my cousin wanted to know:

What are your goals with respect to the cam choice?
Is that a very boost friendly cam? He decided to go with a 212/212 duration because he didn't want to bleed cylinder pressure.
What transmission are you going with? He was very happy with his FLT lvl 4.
He said his turbo was a gt-67...????

( EDIT- Cam is 226/224 , wont let me modify my first post.)
Yes, the cam will be boost friendly and still great for a N/A driver. This cam along with tuning on a 5.3 has gone from 240 RWHP to 300RWHP. so it will be a nice gain before the boost.

The Cam was recommended by my Friend TJ, who is very knowlegable with Gen III engines, He also does the tuning at Baker engineering and is currently tuning a 4xx LSX stroker twin turbo for a 6 sec pro mod car. So i trusted his cam choice! He also cammed my old STS truck i had.( 212 218 comp.)

I will be gathering parts to make my 4L60e a 4L65E, clutches/ steels, Ratio Tek shift kit, Beast sun shell, servos, ect. Basically a high perf. build.
( Thanks Mike L. for advice on parts!)

Going to Run a 3200 Precision Industries Vigilante triple disc converter.

The turbo will prob be a Master power MP70.

Yes, the GT 67 is a great upgrade with the STS kit. I just had the GT-60 when i had my STS kit.

Your cousins truck should run well with his mods and be alot of fun!

What stall is he running? who tuned it?

you could work those stock heads and pick up some nice gains though for not a lot of scratch. I would at least get those small valves out of there. I run 5.3 stage 2.5's on my LS1 with 2.04 and 1.575 valves.

Tell me more man!

So have them machined for larger LS1 valves and a port& polish ?
