So I was on my way to work today when I looked over and sough an older mid 90’s cheve camaro with a big tack in the window. I thought I would give him a little drive by with some black smoke just to say hi and see if he wanted to get down. I drove up a little and looked back and as luck would have it he was coming up from behind fast. I wanted for him to get beside me at about 30 mph and I got on it I left him in the dust. Then we came up to a light I what thinking now I get to try out my boost launch I looked to the side ant the other directions light was turning yellow so I held the brake and revved it to about 1500 rpm, the light turned green and we left the line side by side the only problem was my wheels were spinning so bad it was like I was standing still 1St gear 2ed gear 3erd gear bay the time I let off the throttle that car was 4 car lengths in front of me. Man I know I had that car but my wheels were just spinning any help on getting better traction? :roflmao:

Talk to henry and get the pitman brace and the heavy drag link and give er hell, with the extra tire grabbing you'll leave pretty hard

Yes, center link.

Also, it helps if you don't drive around with your torsion bars cranked up.

IMO you would not have to leave that hard in 4x4 to beat him and break anything. With traction in 4x4 you probably could have just rolled into the throttle with a boost build up.

Surprised he didn't loose traction first thats normally what I encounter but he was the smart one and left soft. ;)

I can bring boost up to 10-11 on the street and stick a 4x4 launch. It leaves hard like that. At my local track I can leave over 5-6psi (and thats with lower pressure in the tires too). So it depends on the surface your on, your tires, temperature etc. Have to play around with it and see. Leaving at 5-6psi will get you a decent start and doesn't strain anything too bad. With sleeves I wouldn't be too worried about the truck if it's around stock weight and you don't have huge tires etc. Lowering your t-bars will improve strength up front too.

jsut know a straight centerlink that uses factory inner tie rods will wear the outer edges of your tires quicker than normal due to bad scrubing. you may also notice increased bumpsteer

I have rear parts tie rod. Do you think I will still have trouble with tire wear?
