Fired the truck up yesterday after swapping a stock LBZ in it. Really wasn't to bad of a job. I stripped the LBZ down to the block, heads, and oil pan, then put everything off my engine on it. Runs great now. No smoke at idle anymore either. For all the guys that have bad cold idle smoke, this should be a warning of what is coming. Rod was bent and decided to break.

It is all the same minus dual cp3 and merchant mounts. Left the twins and new 60% injectors in it. Kory will be tuning it still.

The stock motor made it 47,000 miles. It had a built trans right before 5,000 miles. So it had been on 500+ HP tuning since then. Had a 68mm cheetah and 40% injectors at 15,000. Went with twins around 25,000 miles. Dual cp3's went on around 32,000. She made around 70-80 1/8th passes and 15 1/4 mile passes. Probably 300 or more boosted 4wd launches on bigger tunes. Throw some street raceing in there and me just beating on it all the time. She had a good life. Was a fun 47,000.

Never Dyno'd the setup but ran 11.60@119 at 6,800#'s. HP calculators put it north of 750 on that run. That run had an 1/8 of [email protected]. My last couple dozen 1/8 passes were high 7.20's and low 7.30's @ 97mph. So it had a faster 1/4 in it.

Kinda wondering if I have any bent rods, I'm always on my big tune once its warmed up lol. Think a compression check would tell me anything?
