So I got what I think is a good deal on a wrecked reg cab with a 6.0 gas and 4l80E 4X4 with 9k on it yeah 9,500 miles is all. I know this rig personally because of where i work and saw the wreck happen. an employee backed off into a trench and rolled very slowly onto the cab. so that cab is damaged and both doors and bed sides. hood is fine. not sure what i want to do yet. either repair it and sell it or just use the engine and trans in my 86' chev half tone shortbed. its a manual window reg cab long bed. i called the wreck yard and for about 2k I can have all the body parts to repair and it has a clean title still because they didn't claim it on insurance and auctioned it off to an employee. so my question is whats the parts in this rig work without the engine, trans and t case? body panels are scrap, rear diff is good and front diff is good. frame is fine. seats are vinyl I guess I could part the little stuff out and see what I get back. getting the whole thing for 2250.00$ runs and drives. A friend of mine just payed 3200 for the engine with a 2wd 4l80e trans so im not going to get too hurt haha. what do you guys think?

Well i don't really need another rig and insurance on one. anybody got a cab for one of these laying around? reg cab and manual crank doors and if it was white that would be even better.
