Well I got the news today on my truck. Injectors are toast just like what was thought.

After being quoted on a bunch of injectors and while the engine currently sits torn apart we will be going with 90hp injectors.

The guy who is doing this said that after these are put in with my new exhaust, intake, and my boost valve I should be around 400hp.

I do have a simple question should I be worried about anything at this level?

400 HP? well trans wont hold if that's rear wheel 400 hp. stock turbo will make 500.

How long will trans hold at that power and let's say he's being very optimistic with his number which I feel he is but still let's say its around 360-375 that shouldn't be to rough on a stock trans should it

Stock trans will eat 360-370 all day no problem. 400 isn't even that bad on a stock trans.

Now I have no chips or "tuning" on this truck so with what I have mentioned above how realistic is 400 hp? Just curious is he is one of those people who is very proud of their work.

You won't be at 400 horse with stock turbo, 90 horse injectors and a stock tuning I would say more like 330 wheel horse. If that even. 90 horse injectors are pretty small.

Throw a tune on it and you could be 500 no problem

I know a lot of people really like EFI but is Edge juice w/attitude any good it's a lot cheaper just curious

Edge juice is garbage. You need efi live to make those injectors work properly with everything else.

Okay I planned on going with EFI I was just curious. I live fairly close to Danville so I might make a trip up there over fall break, I'll have to see.

X2 get proper efi tuning and a lift pump and you can easily hit 500+hp. Trans won't last long though

Do yourself a favor. Call Danville and talk with him before you choose injectors to go with. A stock injector will go will go over 550hp.

Your mechanic is lying to you. You dont need bigger injectors, which if they are a reputable brand they are way more expensive than stock remans.

he must be a cummings mechanic.....300hp stock plus 90 hp injectors 30hp from exhaust and intake another 20 from boost valve then take into parasitic loss=400hp yep
