Gmc hoods

Are all models of Gmc hoods the same from 1500 to 2500hd. 01 to 04. I was thinking they were but just wanted an expert opinion. Thanks

As far as I can tell, yes. I have an 03' Chevy 2500HD. I bought a 1500 hood for it and they look EXACTLY alike. Except for the twin scoops on the new one. Now I just need to get some money to have it painted and put that baby on.

I've got an 02 gmc and I put the newer grille and bumper on it off a 1500, grille lines up the same to the hood and headlights and fenders are all the same.

Also, I used to have an 03 1500 and it had the same exact hood.

Yeah they are the same, kinda a bummer.

Which is why I bought an 02 Chevy HD hood and I'm cutting it to fit my GMC
