Big thanks to Chris and Stephanie at Relentless Diesel for knocking out my trans build last week! My only regret is I wish I would have done it sooner!!! If anyone is in the Houston, TX area do not hesitate to give them a call.

The truck shifts great, I've got around 600 miles on the build since I picked it up and the shifts get better and better.

First takes on the ML converter is it is very tight, just as I was told before the install. low stall and couples quick, which makes it very very nice for daily driving at light throttle positions. But I wish I would have done a higher stall, throttle response is not nearly as impressive as the old stock converter. Just not as snappy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm friggin loving the trans!! The trans is well worth the money! Hopefully twins next spring, going to keep Chris as busy as possible!!:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

If you went with the standard ML it is a 2000rpm stall converter... that is actually fairly loose for a stock.turbo truck. You will appreciate it when you step up in power

I've got 40 miles on my new ML and thought I'd notice a bigger change from the stock one effeciency wise. I'm thinking this a good thing and it's well suited to my needs. Soon to try it loaded on the hill...:woott:

I thought there was only one named the ML.. I knew there was more than one P.I. for our trucks, but only one ML?

Since I helped with all the PI converters Terry has stuck the ML with designation on all of them. But you're correct, there is only one ML.

Somehow I think I got a low stall ML when I ordered mine, but I don't mind it a bit. Engine revs don't go much over 2K unless I get on it over half throttle or so, then it's hang on time. I don't have enough bottem end fuel in my current tune to check the stall as it will only go up to 1500 on the brakes like it is now(brakes hold it, but I detuned my bottem end due to the frame twisting under boosted launches). I like how loose it is at an idle, but couples seemlessly once it gets over about 750RPM's.
