Anybody have any ideas on who could tune a little cam swapped vortec. Still has the earlier 4 connector ecm. Should be pretty straight forward nothing crazy has been changed just looking for something to wake it up some. Thanks

What year? EFILIVE won't do the 96-97 5.7L, and I'm not sure if HPTUNERS can either. COMP CAMS used to offer a plug in tuner that you could input different cam specs into.
Its a 99. I think it is supported. I know u can do the swap to the later model ecm but that's not really in the budget.
Blackbear and wait4me performance are the 2 biggies that come to mind. 98+ is tuneable with EFILIVE, but the early 96-97 5 plug ECM is not supported.
It would be nice if they had a phone number to call them at. I was helping a friend with a gasser, and the blackbear tune just wouldn't cut it. He picked up over 100HP with a custom dyno tune on his built 6.0L and the driveability was MUCH better.
I had the o2 sensors tuned out of my 96 yukon through blackbear back in the day.. They may not be able to change tables but I know for a fact they can do that.

There are other tuning programs like tunercat that can tune them, but EFILIVE does not do them.
My two buddies have had alot of headaches with blackbear. between long waiting periods for email respones to tunes that leave alot to be desired. i feel bad for my one buddy as i recommended him and yet he still cant get his tune finilized with him. its been over a year now of working with the guy.

It's definitely possible blackbear used something other than efi to tune it, but it happened and worked so I cant complain.
