Once again my park brake is in need of repair, looking for info in regards to the recall 05v161000. RR brake cable new gm part number and does it just have a higher force spring on the wheel end. Replaced defect LR cable w/napa but pass wheel will not totally release unless you either pull slack from pedal assembly or if i adjust the shoes looser but the latter kind of defeats the purpose because this gives me less pedal/holding force. Also replaced RR cable w/ napa , though maybe old cable had a little bind, but no change. GM 10362946 ??? In recall they speak of a redesigned cable what is different spring. Have a zf6 is the new gm cable unique to this or is replacement cable for all trans' updated.
