GM MDI Multiple Diagnostic Interface

Tech II is pretty much worthless on my 2015 Denali.

Has anyone had any luck getting a MDI up and functional, outside of a GM dealership? If so,what software are you running? And what OS on the PC, I've heard only WIN7?
