General Motors has officially announced pricing for the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD and the 2011 GMC Sierra HD. Both trucks carry a base MSRP $27,965, though you'll have to tack on an additional $995 destination charge. If you want the 397 horsepower, 765 lb-ft of torque Duramax diesel engine and unstoppable Allison transmission option, GM will politely as you for an additional $8,395. The good news is that despite the powerplant's increase in power and fuel economy, the price has remained unchanged from the 2010 model.

For the first time ever, the "Professional Grade" model will be available with a Denali package. Priced at $45,865 including destination fees, the Sierra Denali HD will feature all of the luxury goodies and flashy trim of its less powerful brethren. Buyers who opt for the Denali package will only find the truck available with a four-wheel drive, four-door configuration.

Both the Chevrolet and GMC now feature a 20,000-pound towing capacity, which should be good enough to pull whatever your little black heart desires.

Press Release

Chevrolet and GMC Announce Pricing for 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD and 2011 GMC Sierra HD
2010-04-09

Detroit - Chevrolet and GMC announced today pricing for the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD and 2011 GMC Sierra HD. The Silverado HD and Sierra HD have best-in-class horsepower and torque, with improved Duramax diesel engine and Allison transmission.

Silverado HD base pricing starts at $27,965. An upgrade to the proven Duramax diesel engine and Allison transmission combination runs $8,395 – the same amount as in 2010, despite the significant improvements in fuel economy – including a highway cruising range of up to 680 miles; aforementioned increases in performance; and new B20 biodiesel capability.

The 2011 Sierra HD will have a starting price of $27,965, which excludes a $995 destination charge for the 2500 regular cab 2WD model. The Sierra Denali HD, the first offering of the exclusive Denali line on a heavy-duty GMC pickup, will start at $45,865, excluding destination.

I assume that price for the Denali must be for a 6.0 gasser otherwise where do I sign:D

That still seems low I have seen LMM's on dealers lots missing a few options sticker for $55k

$55,255 doesn't sound all that outrageous for a fully loaded Denali GMC. I would think that should put the actual selling price somewhere below 50k. Making the regular, non-Denali's, somewhere close to 45k or less.

That pricing is BS IMO. Wait untill they hit the lot's. You woun't be able to touch a new Denali Duramax for under 60K. My truck stickered for 46K back in 05'. The Duramax/ Allison package was 7K alone. My truck is a LS, not even close to a loaded LT. As much as I would love to have a new Denali dually, I'm not going to pay that much for a truck:baby:

My truck is an 06 loaded LT (doesn't have Nav or a sunroof but that's it) bought it in September 05. Sticker was 48k; bought for right at 40k out the door.

I know Canadian pricing is different, but with the dollar just about par and Duramax Stickers up here hitting 70K I think a trip south for the 2011 is in the works!!

With GM supplier discount, and 3,000 in rebates, $39k was the best price I could do on a brand new leftover 2009 cc/sb plain LT1, with no options other than remote start, just to give you an idea on how GM is pricing and dealing on there trucks nowadays.

I wish I could have got that kinda price on my truck. I know prices depend on region also. When I moved up here to the northwest, I noticed a fancy little add on to the sticker. "Northwest mark up"......BS if you ask me. Last year that speacial little price on a new Corvette was 10K on top of the sticker price. Just another way for them to get your money.

FWIW, I bought my truck in Boise, Idaho when I lived up there.

gotcha. Have you seen the speacial "NW mark up"? I have heard of people going over to Dave Smith and buying trucks from them. Just because they have a HUGE volume of vehicles and can sell them for less. I thought about gving them a shot when I go to buy a new one.

I'd have to look back at my window sticker to see if it is on there, but I don't remember seeing it. I bought mine at Edmark Superstore, which is one of the biggest dealerships in the Boise area (they're actually in Nampa, which is a suburb of Boise). That may be why they were able to sell it for so cheap. I think the small local dealer where I lived wanted a couple thousand more for a similar truck, but I think they were going to have to dealer trade for it because they didn't have a diesel on the lot at the time.

Yup. They have a delivery charge up here of about $3000. Even if it's used. My Dad (Who's name is David Smith BTW, No relation to the dealer.) went to trade in a truck for another used one and they wanted $3000 more than it was marked for, just for the delivery charge. That is what the sales man told him it was for. On a used vehicle of all things.

Hi, new to this forum. I just paid 76k cdn after rebates for the new 2011 Denali HD 2500 Duramax/Allison and haven't felt an ounce of buyers remorse. In my opinion this truck is hands down the best and sweetest 2011 medium - heavy duty truck of the big three.<!-- google_ad_section_end --> I own an HVAC company and our entire fleet is Ford except for a '90 GMC 1T 12' Box Van. I traded in my personal ride, a mint, low mi, loaded o4 Lariat 6.o Powerstroke crew cab while it was still worth something and before the 6.o cost any more than it already had. After seriously checking out the new Dodge and Ford equivalents to my Lariat, I thought I'd give GM a try as well. Seriously, all it took was seeing the Denali HD Duramax to know "this is my truck!" A test drive the following day removed any doubt. I've only had it for two days.....but if all the reviews are any indication, this was the truck to wait for. I'm looking forward to hitting the wide open highway with my 5th wheel behind me. It's a head turner for sure. Strangers are giving me two thumbs up when they've seen it roll down the street. This guy came up to today me with his wife and said, "There isn't a nicer truck in town!" I agree.
