Allison 6sp: GM AC Delco Dex VI?

As a Duramax newbie, I just spent two hours on-line researching Allison recommended fluids. Is it bad just to drain/fill with GM AC Delco Dex VI? I don't plan any mods, I tow a 8,500 pound trailer, and I will never spin the tires.
I just bought the truck with 29,000 miles and I want to service the Allison, both diffs, and the transfer case.

I would use TranSynd. Much better fluid.
