Is glow shift gauges any good or save my money for better gauges. There only 199. Found some used Banks Gauges will those be better?

their pillars are TOTAL junk...but the gauges arent toooo bad from what ive seen...my buddy has them on his TDI the Pyro works well but its more designed for gassers as it goes all the way to 2200
the boost gauge on the other hand is real jumps and makes a buzzing noise but it may have something to do with his car being only a 4cylinder

the gauges them self are just fine, its the sending units, fittings, and acesseries that make them cheap.
