My truck has been throwing a glow plug code and i got some new plugs and went to change them. I soaked them down in some wd 40 to loosen them up a bit. and broke 2 off the num 1 and 8 so I gotta get them out. but with new plugs it still dont wanna crank. It will spin over for a good 15 to 30 sec then wanna hit off what else do i need to do

Since you say it's an LB7, I'm guessing the code is a P0380. If this is a federal emissions truck, then the P0380 means either that all 8 glow plugs are out or the glow plug controller is bad. Need to know if it's a federal truck or cali emissions truck(cali truck has 8 individual wires hooking each glow plug individually where a fed truck has a rail hooking each side together).

I'm getting the p0380 code also and mine is the Cali emissions, I am getting power to all the plugs but I'm still throwing the p0380 code so it could possibly be the control Module? It wouldn't surprise me because when I got it back together I had the wire from the alternator running to the single stud on the control module like a idiot.
