Well I decided I'm gonna plasti dip the rims black. I would first like to see just a couple pics of glossed plasti dip rims. I would really like to see some up close pics of what the rims look like after some miles were put on the paint. Anybody got what I'm lookin for?

mine are flat black, didn't do the glossifier, but as far as durability, they're holding up strong so far, 4 months running and no issues.

Good to hear. So I take it you have to buy a special 'plasti dip' gloss then. I can't decide on flat or gloss...

I did my grill and bumper about a month ago and no chips. I step on the bumper all the time to look into the engine bay and it holds up fine. The only chips I had is when someone at home depot hit my mirrors that I dipped. It took red off their vehicle too though. I didn't use the gloss though.

no plasti-dip sells the glossifier separate. I used regular black plasti-dip which gives a satin finish. the glossifier comes in a separate can that you spray on after you spray the dip.

I did my grill, bumper, wheels in the flat.

Looks good on bumper and grill but didn't care for it too much on wheels. It held up well but its too rough/flat for my tastes. Left it on for 6 months then bought new wheels/tires.

I then redid the grill with the glossifier. I really like that. Just did one coat of it at the end, gives it a good little shine. Its not the same as the plastidip so be prepared when you spray and use a good ventilated location. It also takes longer to dry so you can't wait 4 hours and just mount stuff. Over all though its great stuff and cheap.

The best thing I did was the interior pieces in white. I like the way it stands out and it give some character. These where in just flat white but its held up so well I didn't redo it with glossifier.

I'm thinking about doing them flat for now. And after I see what it looks like all mounted up I may gloss them or not. We will see. This is my project for tomorrow
