Hey guys I finally pulled the trigger on some twins. I am wanting to buy guages and was wondering if I need more than one boost guage and do I need to have a guage to monitor drive pressure? Also how hard is the install? Does anyone have a link to some instructions? I bought the II kit with the
s480 and it has the t6 1.32 and I'm hoping that won't be too big for daily driving. Any tips, thoughts, or comments. Thanks James

Not alot of II kits here. I would think you could get the destructions from II. I would say Moderate skill level is involved in installing twins. Hardest part is the turbo drain & sometimes the exhaust bolts can be very tight, lots of penetrating oil is your freind. If you are doing the tuning then yes to all the gauges, if not then just a total boost gauge will be fine. The 480 is big but can be tuned to work just fine, several guys on here have already done it.

Alright sounds good. What kind of boost do you think I will see? and do you think it will make 600 hp with the stock fuel system?

I see 55-60 psi (I have the 480) on the big tune...and yes 600+ hp is achievable with stock system....Rob Coddens is your man for twin tuning:thumb:

I think Tony B.'s EGR delete kits for LMM and LBZ's has the ports to hook up both EGT and Drive Pressure gauges if you jump over to his site and read it for exact specs. but I sure could swear I read that because I want to hook up a Drive Press. gauge too so I can see it instead of all the EFI logging laptop etc. laying inside the truck just to see that value when I'm just driving at certain speeds on diff. tunes. Just a note in the eyes not on paper etc. but good enough. He can make the pipes with those ports if you need certain item.

I have to ask were do you come up with some of the stuff you start your post about. The egr delete is not going to read drive pressure that's done from the exhaust side not the intake side.

Unless you get the kit he offers with the up-pipe that has the port for drive press.

Yes and on the ii twin kit I do not think Tonys egr delete will fit the way it's made feeding the top turbo. The egr delete pipe would hit the feed pipe since ii's kit keeps the egr and grid heater. Be best if he wants drive pressure setup to drill and tap the other manifold like we do for the egts and others have for drive pressure before.

True that,Sorry not familiar with II kit.And x2 on tapping manifold.

Nothing to be sorry about lol. In you pic the cold side intercooler pipe would not work on a ii kit I think the rdl kit would but not 100% sure it runs along the side and not over the top.
