Ok, so I really am getting ready to upgrade the charger on my LLY over the next month or two, I have even thinking and thinking. Being more realistic and going with what is most practical for me and financially for the long run too. I've decided on the s366 charger as its not a crap load of money, and a very street able turbo and plenty of power for what I need. I don't need a all out race truck. I want to keep the truck around 600rwhp. I know people say it'll get old and I'll want more. But that's not the answer for me. I don't plan on doing a build for a long time so I think 600rwhp on the big tune is reasonable. Now my question. Should I go with the II silver 66 kit, or a htt kit? T3 or t4? I feel that a t4 would be the better option. But does the silver 66 come as a t4? Or will I have to go with a kit from like Trent or build my own? What are my best options for this 66mm that I am going to be doing. I will be adding a set of 40-45% nozzles aswell. Maybe not right away but near spring time. I will probably only use the big tune at the track. Rarely around the street. As I never even run my Max effort tune as it is now. Please feel free to chime in. Just want to know if I'm going in the right direction with the 366. Thanks guys!

The II 366 is an awesome turbo easy to I stall spools quick I love mine and I've I stalled 4others and they love them too.White h ever 1 you get I would go with the BD install kit, it comes with the drIverson side dipstick and everything needed for the Install. If you going with a single I'd do the t 4 IMO.

Is the industrial injection 66 a t4 kit? Or t3? I have heard it was considered a t3 but almost as big as a t4? If that makes sense?

Yes it does Henry said it's larger then a t3 kind of a t3 1/2 give Henry a shout and see what he has to offer.

I'll second the II 366. I installed one beginning of the month and I'm very happy with it. I didn't change my tunning at all and my turbo lag isn't that bad, I figured it would be. Once I change the tuning I'm sure it will be even better.

The BD install kit is also very nice and well put together. That downpipe fit my pickup perfect, I didn't have to do anything to the down pipe. Only thing I did to my exhaust was unbolt the small front pipe piece and the exhaust bolted right up. The oil feed line was a bit tricky but I got it routed.

I do believe you can get an II 366 in a T4 but you'd have to ask Henry.

Go luck in your decision. I spend ALOT of time deciding what I wanted. Right Scott?? :D

There are better options than the II kit. It is a good kit, but not a great kit...also, keep in mind he wamts to stay stock rods for a bit.

I understand there are other options, just wanted to give my experience in that I'm happy with that turbo/setup. The more people post their experience with what they got will help the OP in deciding what will work for him. That's at least what I look for when doing upgrades myself.

Really happy with my Billet 66MM STG II from Danville. made 571 rwhp with stock injectors and pump. sounds awesome too. very streetable and keeps egts in check. not the cheapest turbo but fits great and no need to modify anything. and mark has made 700+ on his dyno with it. hope this helps

I think the t4 s366 is what I will be doing, instead of trying to fab an intake to work for it, I will probably buy a 02+ lb7 y bridge,lb7 Ic pipe to make it fit right as my egr delete pipe is for the stock Lly bridge and is not 3". The s366 will have a billet wheel to maybe help spool alittle bit as I will still have stock injectors. The only mod is a lbz fpr on my cp3. Other than oil feed lines,t4 pedistal(bd,Profab,ect)s366,downpipe,intake,valley feed block off plug,y bridge,Ic pipe. What else do I need? Do I need a different water pipe? Is the lb7 crossover pipe different than Lly?

You will have to plug the coolant hole in the pipe that use to feed the charger. theres a few companys that make plugs but im almost 100% sure to run a 5'' intake you would have to weld the hole up. I just so happen to have one:D

Not sure if I can run a 5" intake on a s300? I think the 4" is the biggest for that charger? Not 100% though. I'll holler at you if I need that plug :)

Your pedistal would have to be tall to fell to accept a 5in intake. My S366 has a 4in intake cover and the only way I could get a 4in intake would be to move that wire harness that goes over the top of the engine.
A 5in intake would be HUGH:eek:
