It could be good, or REAL bad.

Personally I dig the exterior design aspects Chrysler could bring to the table. Their dedication to a products longevity leaves a bit to be desired though...:eek:

IMO, past and current Chrysler products are only meant to last just outside the warranty period...if you're luck. Junk.

Their last little dance together, New Venture Gear, brought us the NV4500 and NV5600 manual trannies, as well as several transfer cases. They had a plant in Syracuse, NY and one in Muncie, IN.

That thing ended up in the equivalent of a bitter divorce with Chrysler abandoning the family and GM getting custody of the kids.

GM killed NVG, aka Manual Transmissions of Muncie, in the spring of 2006. We moved all of the production machinery out of the plant after it was sold at auction. It was sad to see the death of the home of the "Muncie Rock Crusher" .
