grabbers are 6 lbs light per tire, i dont care about mileage... what would be a better tire for drag racing?

On paper the Generals look like they should work better however we don't drag race on paper so i can't say for sure. My brother has the Grabbers on his 1/2 ton and he really likes them. FWIW when i get new wheels i will be putting Grabbers on them.
The Grabbers kinda have the same tread pattern as the old Proxes. Have no idea if they'd work for racing or not.
my thoughts exactly tom... plus 6 lbs of rotational mass is decent. plus they are pretty cheap

Ya think that's what im going for as well these fit well with the bars all the way down being 31" tall? Im assuming you did the 275/70/16 correct?
Nick do you daily drive on these falkens they are only rated @1800 lbs a tire so 7200 lbs seems sketchy to drive from idaho tp phoenix on my truck weighted at 7680 with 20's an just me
