<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I had a problem with my fuel injection pump. I had low fuel rail pressure (PO087) and then a fuel leak and no start. I pulled the cp3 and found it bit the dust, metal shards everywhere in the valley, etc. I have a new pump sitting in the shop, uninstalled because I can't get the stupid gear off the tapered shaft of the old pump. I have wrecked pullers, run bolts through alll 5 holes in the pulley, and used an impact to try and get it off and it ain't coming off. I tried heating the shaft glowing red, heating the gear, and it still won't come off. I didn't want to wreck the core, as it is a $200 core charge, but it looks like I may have to machine the shaft out of hte center, unless I het any better advice. Any ideas??
Thanks,<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
