gear selection

so i thought about pulling at lainsville indiana but i didnt know were to set my gear at and 4wd. it would of been work stock class/ open diesel. i didnt know weather to put it in D M 1 or 4wd low or high?

4wd low. IIRC I put in manual 3rd. It been over a year

4 low 3 rd gear. let it shift by itself.

okay so put my truck in 4wdL, then manual gear selection on 3rd? then it will just shift up to 3rd by it self?
