Now that I don't have the Edge I don't have any kidn fo gauges..

I am looking at the NV series becuase it is green!!! I like green and it would match the other dash lighting!!!

Problem is the BOOST gauge in this series only goes up to 30 PSI.. These are full sweep electrics.. The Mechanical version goes to 45 PSI however!!

is it safe to run a Mechanical boost gauge to the cab?? Is it even possible???

WHat do you guys think or reccomend, as far as How to attach Boost guage and trans. temp guages??? SuperDiesel Manifold ?? What about the Trans. i have a stock pan right now!!

THANKS
WILL

you really dont need the vacuum on the guage , maybe go with the mechanical boost only it goes to 60psi http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=3416&sid=57
i'm using the cobalt series in my truck and have had no problems with the boost line. I Actually have some braided line and fittings to change out the nylon line if it ever gives me problems. I dont feel like tearing it back apart to fix something thats not broken .

i run a mechanical boost gauge 0-60psi no probloms with mechanical
as long as your not running fuel pressure into the cab of the truck

i did almost the same as Tinman useing braided line but only went as fas as the fire wall with the braided and then plastic line inside the cab

carefull using braided line if its touching anything it will saw thru it like butter

super diesel manifold is very nice! but not neccesary

If you don't need the SD manifold how do you tap into it??? And where???

I don't knwo hwo to tap into the Transmission, or intercooler/turbo for the boost gauge!!

How are all you guys wiring this up under the dash and thru the firewall.. i couldn't even find anywhere to put the sinlge Edge Attitude wire thru!!!

I don't see how all thsi will fit up under the dahs unt into the A-pillar!!!

Help, me i'm dumb!!!!:baby: :baby:

Hey everyone. Fairly new to the site, but I have some input.
I removed my stock intake manifold and drilled and tapped with whatever came with my AutoMeter kit.(Its amazing how nasty it was inside with what little time I ran my EGR) I am going to run my stock turbo for a long time(money reasons), so my boost gauge only reads 35psi. I havent had any problems. I forced my boost gauge through the large grommet in the firewall.(cut, poked, etc.) This was the biggest pain in the ass of anything I have done to the truck yet! I dont know if anyone has a better method...

unfortunatly I didnt have time do do it myself when I got them so I had my friend do them for me I have no idea how or where things were hooked up under the dash. he put the fitting in the top intercooler pipe on mine by the firewall instead of in the manifold.
