Allison 5sp: gasseer TCM flash to diesel?

Can a 8.1L 01 TCM be flashed to an 01 LB7 calibration and OS? I'm in need of a TCM as I need to be able to adjust mine and have come across an 01 8.1L's TCM for a good price. I just want to make sure I can flash it to work before I buy it.
