I am thinking of building a Ford SOHC motor and racing it in a 64 Fairlane. Thunderbolt:D

Car runs low 4.90's. Jerry Bickel chassis 34/17/16 tires. No rules on really anything, track is an outlaw track. As long as it doesn't leak they don't care. Power glide and 4.11 gears. I have all the specs on the motor at the shop. Bb2 heads not sure on cam size

How about an ET breakdown, induction, and cam specs if you have them. N20 or N/A car, I'm assuming N/A? With that much tire, and good chassis, she would probably like the giggle juice. So many options, but not enough info. You can pm me if you don't want it on the net.

I will have to look through some slips to get a breakdown 1.07 60ft. N/a car Even though we may eventually run some spray. We want to do this motor only. Gary Williams carb

Get rid of the glide. No need for it in a chassis car. Run a lenco. 2300lb N/A chassis cars run 6.50's 1/4 mile with only 1,400 hp bangin gears. If glides improved time slips on chassis cars then Pro Stock cars would run them. Glides are a crutch for small tire cars with power adders or for bracket/index budget racers. Fr:Chett

Not to disagree but running a lenco will probably be slower than a glide in most setups for braket racing. Theres a lot of drag vs a "good glide". If your motor has a narrow powerband the extra gears will help. It depends what Brodix heads your running but there could be better options. They make some bad boy heads but most are lacking for all out power. Sounds like a fun ride, enjoy. Jeff

Car runs around 139 to 140 right now. The car works great right now but these guys are just in a p!$$!ng contest and they can't stand it that we have the fastest door car. They have always had the fastest until now. They are supposedly going to run 4.70's to 4.80's motor only so I am wanting to run just a hair faster just to make them mad. They bought one new car last year to try and cAtch us but it didn't work so now they have bought another. We are going to make a few changes to this setup to try and stay ahead but we might have to do something drastic eventually.
