Garrett 4094vvt with PPE Hot +2 ET question

I am having to replace head gaskets, so I am going with ARP studs and replacing the water pump and thermostats while everything is apart.

I am considering upgrading the stock turbo to a 4094 vvt, and adding a Diamond Eye downpipe. I have a stock CP3 with a FASS 150 and shimmed fuel rail.

Am I in danger of bending rods with the 4094 and PPE on the higher tunes? I don't want to flirt too much with disaster, as I do not have the cash to upgrade the rods right now. This PPE Hot +2 ET tuner is probably 6-7 years old, has settings to 10, and has never been sent in for updates. It seemed to run best on Level 9 with the stock turbo.

Thanks,

Bud

Since someone will say this, a good Efi live tune will cheaper then rods and a hole lot easier. Not saying it will not bend your rods, but there is a better chance of leaving your block in a position to be rebuilt.

You wont be bending anything on stock injectors, 4094 and a ppe hot+2. The 4094 will probably be laggy with the ppe tho.

Thanks.

As far as the lag, would I be better off with the 3794, or is that so close to stock that it won't make much difference?
