Owners of Dirty Max have stepped up their game. Beings it's one of the best Dmax builds to date, I felt it necessary to post the pics & info. on here from CompD. I have zero rights to any of this nor do I know anything about it other than what's in the thread on CompD. I'm just copying & pasting info b/c a link is boring. :D

Krazeeun: I'm excited, its essentially the DirtyMaxx, but weighs 1000lbs less, twin parallel GT4094r's instead of compounded GTX45/55, more elaborate nitrous system and some really trick heads. Same trans, gears, tires, injectors, etc.... We're really hoping the twin parallel & head combo will let us run it out the back like we need to instead of falling on its face at 4200rpm like the Dirty does. Well, like the Dirty did, I kinda ruined the engine in Canada last weekend....

Krazeeun: So... the trans brake as well as the shifting on this car is handled by the nitrous system as opposed to the dirtymax that had a separate CO2 system on board to handle that. There was already a complete nitrous system on the car so we're tying into what's already there and trying to make it work for us.. I had to move the solenoids inside of the cab instead of on the front of the firewall because the real estate where they used to live is now taken up by charge air piping heading up to the intake.

We just fabbed up all of the exhaust/gate plumbing, JUST mounted the radiator (literally the welds are cooling still), I need to make one more parts run tomorrow to the race car shop down the street and I should have all of the cooling system plumbed. I started on the wiring today, that's going to be a majority of tomorrow's job... the idea is to have this car out to test & tune Sunday afternoon... we'll see...

Krazeeun = Ryan Milliken which I'm sure several of y'all know is taking on driving duties & apparently has been a big factor in helping Brad build the car.

Not sure there's a better sound in diesel motor sports than parallel twins on a V8!! Damn near orgasmic at RPM!

Krazeeun: Found some good info while going over todays data-logs...

Car is only commanding 17k rail pressure, we forgot to plug our map sensor in and for some reason it says it can't see the IAT sensor even though it's plugged in... might need to check our pins/connections on that one.

I was wanting to either feed it more nitrous at staging, bump the stall a tad higher on the converter or possibly drop turbine housing size but...... I think we'll iron these issues out and try another go in a wet parking lot first!

What Ryan had to say after test runs in parking lot.
