hello all, just joined cause im in the process of finding my secont dmax, currently have a topkick c4500 all custom but stock, only intake and turbo back exhaust. I am looking for an 06/07 2500, if anyone has info on some that are in NC with low miles hit me up. Also i am wandering what is the best chip for the truck, herd good things about juice with attitude and ppe, any suggestions? Only plans for the truck is lift, wheels, tires, exhaust, intake and chip but dont want to go to far into motor mods, i am looking for a chip that is good but is least hard on the truck, once again any suggestions? thanx

Edge and PPE make a pretty decent slap-on programmer.. but if you want the good stuff go with EFI live or HP Tuners (custom tuning)

Thanks, but there are no places around where i live for custom tune work, i have been reading up on efi live and looked at getting it but i am more less wanting to just slap it on and be done with it, i was looking at the juice with attitude cts and looked good but no decision yet. Another question, if i put a 3 in. lift will i fit 35's?

Skip the edge unit and go with PPE PPE specailizes in the Duramax Edge has to many things on there plate and there finished prodeuct shows that.

3" lift will clear 35's but you will need to trim you front valance

yes but i dont plan on putting any gauges in the truck, i like the fact that with the edge i can moniter boost, egt's,ecc... with the ppe i cant do that, correct? its just plug n play with the xcelerator programer and i know i could get the duramaximizer power module whicj i like but none give me a read out. To be honest i would rather have the ppe but like the monitering system for the edge. I dont know what to do.

Just don't get the Edge Juice w/ Attitude... the Evo units seem to have far less issues (they actually reflash the ecm instead of acting like an inline modifier)
