Im almost ready to start my truck after doing a full power train replacement. 230k engine and trans came out and a 73k engine and trans went in. Both motors were the same out of Kodiaks and everything has plugged in and seems ready to go. Now my question is around the ECU and TCU I kept the original computers in the truck since I had an EFI live tune on it, and just had the TCU re-flashed.

Besides the engine and trans changes I installed LDS 30% over injectors and went with a 3" Y bridge and a S&B turbo inlet. My main concern is what the ECU and TCU will do once we start it. Do I need to have the TCU reprogrammed? The ECU will have the updated tune for the injectors.

While i am not really versed in the kodiaks, i do think you need to reset the taps on transmission and should do a fast (quick???) relearn if possible
