So I had a junk dual CP3 controller and I replaced it with Fingers controller. It started and ran good for about a minute then the motor started loping and rail pressure was maxed. Fuel was good on controller. I tried a different spot for a ground and still no improvement. Of course the code was the P0089 and reduced engine power. I am leaning toward a bad FPR on one of the pumps.

Anyone have any suggestions I could try?

Bypass the dual pump and swap regulators on the factory location pump?

At first I didn't understand this but after talking to a few people I get it lol. Pull the serpentine belt and start it to see if it idles normal if not I'll be buying two regulators and be done with it.

I was fighting the same problems, triple checked everything and thought maybe the controller was bad. Ended up being the fpr in the valley, which I didn't get because it was fine before putting dual pumps on. Ended just buying two new regs and its fine.

Well the pump in the valley is good. So just for safety sake I'll be buying two new regulators and keeping the one from the valley pump as a spare. Is it worth it to go to LBZ regulators or not? Where's the best place to buy them from?

This is exactly what I did. I went with LBZ regulators on both. I got mine from Alligator for $180 per.
