So, my 7 month old PPE lift pump just took a crap on me. Called PPE and they said it would be 4-6 until i get its replacement after i send in this broken one.

All i can say is to hell with that! I'm not going to be driving around without a pump that long and i think its a serious letdown on the part of PPE.

anyways while its out for repair i think im going to buy this pump and maybe keep the ppe as a backup when it gets back. figured i would run it by you guys to see if you think its the best model for my needs. looks like i can hopefuly run it without a regulator:)

I'd ask them about warranty running diesel through it before you buy it.

I tried to talk him out of it when he got the PPE but he no listen lol

Even IF your were to EVER have an issue with the AD or Raptor at least you know you'd have a new new one in a few days and not weeks.

And not to talk down on the PPE stuff (cause dan know's i love him)but imo if you're looking for a fuel pump you go with the people that make fuel pumps :thumb:.

I kinda forgot about those, what do they cost these days. And is Opie the only one who sells them? I thought I saw them on Wicked Diesels old site, but can't find them on MotorSport Diesel.

Lol Kyle, well the first one lasted 3 years I figured a brand new one would at least get me a couple years. I like the pump I just hate this warranty issue. IMHO if your part fails within the time warranty covers it as soon as the defective product is recieved and found in the described condition a new one should be shipped out right away.

So you guys like the fuelab? Anyone think 15 psi through the ficm will give me headaches? I had my old Ppe cranked to 15psi and the idle was fine but I was going off the screw being at full turn not by an actual gauge

I concur, they sent me a new one everytime. Why not just get the new one out in a timely fashion to begin with.
