Alright, motors going in and getting broken in this weekend, and my question is : Do I need to have a fuel temp sensor in the return? Not sure of the exact functions it has on these motors and want to clean up the lines.

No not required. Most of the time the tuning is modified incase the sensor goes bad. Factory tuning will reduce power if the sensor goes bad and defaults to a higher value.

I never deleted mine. it's one sensor.

And personally, I'd leave it. that way you can monitor fuel temp and add a cooler with fan when it's necessary.

Too late for that now, I just simplified all my lines and didn't feel like worrying about it, I honestly do not feel fuel temperature will ever be an issue for me in this amazing climate Up here....and if it ever is, a simple temperature gauge is cheap and easy.
