I am converting to run T6 in the valley and two things are in my way. The trans dipstick tube(not the problem) and the return junction and fuel temp sensor assembly. Can I eliminate the sensor altogether or do I need to incorporate it into some kind of fuel block? Strictly a puller with less than 15 minute run time per event, mostly idle. Fuel temps never get even close to hot, never monitor them logging anyway. Just hit the fuel cell and/or lines with laser thermo.

I put mine into supply line. Don't quote me on this but I would say you could prolly just delete it all together. You'd have to block the code, and then zero out the fuel temp table

You could eliminate the fuel to sensor and tune around it without a issue on a competition truck. Just remember that the tuning will need to be accommodating for the change. I wouldn't recommend it on a truck that sees much daily driving. Putting it in a supply line wouldn't be the same as Temps should be much cooler there. Return fuel is where the higher Temps come from and the sensor is a fail safe protection device to start with.

Yeah I just did that so I can record temps. I have an after market gauge in ht return
