I am facing an issue with the Furl Tank in my new to me truck. When you park the truck nose down on an angle and the tank is filled with Diesel it leaks on the driveway. When you park the truck nose up it does not leak Diesel. I am working on this with Cougar281 and we are just trying to figure out where it could be coming from. Cougar281 suggested it could be the fuel sending unit gasket or the sending unit itself. Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas of what it could be? I am apologizing ahead of time if I have posted in the wrong section of the forum. Thanks!

Pull the bed off & park it nose down so you can see where it coming from
sounds like the ring came loose or seal is bad

We are planning on doing that. I am just trying to maybe see if anyone else had the same issue or experience with this issue. I do not want to have to buy the sending unit if I do not have too. I have already purchased the gasket for the sending unit. Thanks for your help!

Thanks Poltergeist! So the seal on the sending unit is what you are saying is the issue? How often does this go bad on these trucks?

Funny thing... I posted asking about this a few weeks ago and got no reply at all :(

Someone on DP suggested possibly rusted through sending unit. While there is rust on the sending unit, I couldn't get a good enough look to tell if that's possible.
