Okay guys enlighten me.

Currently I have a bone stock fuel system except for the air dog and draw straw.

Is there anything else I should do for this year?? Ported fittings, modded regulator??

i know I cant do much, but I wanna make sure im getting the most out of this stock motor until the other one is finished. Thanks guys.

I dont wanna run twin CP3s on a stock motor. scares me too much. I think i will use his kit on my other motor but not the one in the truck.

Take the flow restrictors out of the injectors. Don't know how it's done but they say it has been done to my 02. Run 1/2-5/8 hose to the motor, bypass factory filter. If airdog has filters, port both rail fittings. Port fuel rails( not sure if it helps though no positive numbers yet) Anyone have any info on ported rails?

i was planning on redoing my fuel system with -10AN line from the tank to the motor bypassing the stock filter. my connections at my air dog leak anyways

Shim the fprv, you will notice a big differense. That other stuff i know nothing about. I guess runnin bigger hose from the tank to the motor cant hurt nothing.

i must admit i haven't heard of anyone having to shim a FPRV on an LB7 before now.

plug the banjo bolt eh? i can almost picture it in my head but a pic would be sweet.

I am going through the same thought process Vinny, also going to bypass OEM filter as i have a CAT 2 micron on the framerail after the lift pump right now. I think though that the 1/2 steel line flows with less friction than a 5/8 rubber line will, with theoretically more pressure. i think i may try to put lly heads and FICM and bigger injectors in too at some point soon by the sound of things. I have a LBZ CP3 in it right now but it isn't the cat's meow so i may either mod it or buy one of Pat's clearance CP3's. also planning on doing the dual feed line like Ind. inj. has

you can pull the bolt out and tap it 1/8 NPT and put a steel plug in there. ima try it tomorrow and see what comes of it

5 bucks says it will leak

I got a actual metric plug and it still leaked, plugging the banjo bolt is a bad idea imo its not rated for the pressure:eek:

welding it shut is the best option IMHO
