We removed the rear fuel tank outta my buddies 05 c4500 to make room for 5" exhaust. Going into this we knew we would have to come up with something to fool the ecm into thinking the back tank was empty. Well nothing that we have came up with has worked. I tried changing the parameters in the tune, put a resistor inline to lower the voltage, tried the wires unplugged and plugged together with no luck.

When you first turn the key on the truck reads the correct fuel level. As soon as you start the truck or wait like 30 seconds it drops to empty.

I have not tried a single tank OS yet.

Any ideas on how to make it only read off the front tank?

TX of course
Single tank tune maybe

If the voltage doesn't change like the tank level is dropping then the truck knows something is up.
