I have a question about the fuel return line. Im runnin the xcelerator hot +2 tuner and got error code for low fuel rail pressure. I shimmed and ported the rail and still have the code. I just did a bottle test and its still returning fuel. My question is while I was doing the bottle test I thought why not just block off the line I used to run fuel to the bottle since the shim kit is supposed to block off the fuel I figured this would do the same thing. Does anyone know if its o.k. to do it this way. It seems to have taken care of the error code. I've only put about 50 miles on it since I did this and I just want to know if its safe to do.

Not a good idea, it's extremely high pressure and if it's leaking. Tighten down your FPRV again. I had to screw with mine quite a but before I got it to pass the bottle test.

Back it out and put a little vaseline on the end of the FPRV. Then tighten it up until you can split washers with your arsehole! Remember, it was tightened by the hand of God at the factory LOL!!

Well PPE does sell the "race valve" which is essentially just a block off for the FPRV to prevent any sort of fuel pressure relief at all.

I shimmed mine up so hard that it wasnt capable of lifting anymore and I never had any problems. not saying its the right way, but it worked just fine with no problems.
