How does the fuel rail work, I know that fuel enters it an feeds the injectors, but on the left side, how does it feed the injectors an flow enough thru to the rt side, is there 2 chambers in the left an if so is it possible to clogg it up ( Like when changing the cp3 getting debris in the line. ) so it won't fuel the left side injectors while the right side fuels correctly, I'm just trying to understand how these work to maybe rule out this possible issue. I've not seen this ?? asked it my be a stupid one, but I'm curious.

Thanks,
Dean

where the fuel line goes into the rail behind the fuel rail fitting there is a little itty bitty orifice behind it, it could get clogged, buts not hard to clean out, i drilled mine out to .125

there is some corrosion that does build up and if its not clean up when you take it apart it could get in the fuel system

cool, the reason I'm asking my problem started when I had to pull my cp3 pump, then the truck ran bad, I had good fuel rail pressure an no codes,, I did find a y-bridge leak an the compressor wheel has some build up around it, I use the K&N filters which are wet, Now the trucks just not fueling right, I was just thinking that I may have an orifice clogged, I guess I'll pull the fitting an check them, Should I pull the rails an do a full clean on them, I guess it wouldn't hurt huh

Just a thought but could you have oiled your mass air sensor?

I am curious on what you found with your rail issues. I have an 04 LLY and I got a bad batch of fuel recently. Since then it seems like the DS bank is not getting enough fuel. I have a snap on scanner and when I turn off the odd injectors I see little to no change compared to the even ones.
