LB7: Fuel pressure regulator

I have a 02 Chevy Silverado Duramax. And I changed out my FPR with a brand new Bosch FPR. I come to turn my truck over and it cranks up just fine but when I put it in drive or reverse it gots a slightly small surge but it runs fine my 8 injectors have been replace with brand new ones from the dealer they only have about 8 to 9,000 miles on them. What would yall think the problem is here?

Did you replace it with a Lbz regulator

No its stock but what I did notice was that my wires of my fuel temp sensor were ripped out, you think that can be the cause?
