need to increase my fuel mileage. Im getting high 15's to low 16 on hwy. If I tow anything it drops to 9 & 10 mpg. My truck is pretty much stock. Leveled front, put wider tires, and removed muffler. Im thinking of removing the Cat, but not sure if it'll mess up anything. Would having a straight pipe help my mpg?

EFI would help.I get better about 20 mpg highway and 17 around town.
Wider tires don't help your .mpg.
I cut my cat off before Efi And never threw a code.

With bolt ons, downpipe, intake, and exhaust, I pulled in 17mpg on average. With the PPE on lvl3 I can almost squeak out 20mpg
