[FONT="]Bought a 2003 chevy 2500 duramax in March from a friend. Front end damaged in accident several years ago, frame bent, totaled out, driven from Atlanta to Birmingham, repaired, driven several years and then bought by me. 160 K miles. Starts immediately. Runs great. good power. 12-13 MPG. No issues except a fuel leak. Smell diesel occasionally on drivers side after extended drive. Put in fuel leak detector and using black light found fuel deposits on left underside of engine, oil filter, trans filter, various bolts, nuts, etc. removed lft wheel well cover. Found fuel deposits in various places. Cannot find any fuel leak nor evidence from top or passenger side. no evidence of fuel lk on fuel lines from tank to top of engine.[/FONT]

[FONT="]cleaned off fuel. Ran engine at idle for 15 min. No evidence of fuel leak. Drove truck at hiway speed for 15 minutes. Evidence of fuel on filters and left underside of engine as before. Fuel does not drip and puddle. Smell is not always present or at least not always detectable.[/FONT]

[FONT="]Not real familiar with this engine or diesels but have built gassers and can do many repairs. But need some help in proceeding. There are no notices from the display when starting. No codes are stored.[/FONT]
