Fuel leak problem

Alright so a week or so ago I started to take my engine down and pull the heads off due to a broken glow plug that couldn't be extracted but decided to put it off till the summer and repair the glow plug. Now to broken glow plug isn't the problem. I got down past the upper valve cover and started taking the lower cover on the drivers side off but, as I said previously, changed my mind and put it all back together. So the injectors were never pulled. The injectors did run fun before and we're not making oil. So my question is if there is an o-ring or something in the high pressure fuel lines that could have failed to cause my fuel in oil problem. And as I said previously I was not making oil before and all balance rates are within spec

The return line has one-time use steel gaskets, and if those were disturbed, they could have started leaking. The high pressure lines don't use a gasket, but can leak if they are not tightened to spec. I like to use a crowfoot on a torque wrench to get them to spec. Doing it by hand/guess tends to leave them too loose, or risk breaking them off.

Probably a leaking return. Pull vacuum on the return line at each head and see if it holds.

How far did you disassemble your injectors? If all you pulled were the fuel lines, check them and make sure they are not full of rust. Might not be sealing well.
