So I just recently put 20% over nozzles and an s300 in my lb7. Everything was good ran great decided to put my old PPE on it before I got EFI just to see what it did. Ran good but then started leaking fuel in the crank case. Opened it back up and the #1 return line banjo seal looked like it got hit by the valve spring, the injector wasn't damaged the return line sealing surface had a ding in it though so I took it to work and machined it flat again (only too 5thou off of it) put the truck all back together with new seals and all drove it yesterday and It started leaking fuel again, not sure if ita the return line again yet because I haven't torn it back down yet all my balance rates seem good. If you guys have any ideas at all please let me know.
Thanks
Chris

Did you buy these injectors new or did you just put new tips on your current injectors? If you pull the valve covers and hook your lines all back up you can pressurize the fuel system to see where it is leaking. Are you sure that the ding for the return line seal wasnt there or happened during disassembly?

I only found the obvious leak on #1 and yeah I'm damn sure that wasnt from disasembaly, so you think I should pull both covers and put air to the system? Yes my injectors and new tips.

Yes that's an easy and definitive way to rule stuff out. That way you can tear into it once and be done with it.

No seeing any visible leaks with air. Any idea of anything I could put on the connections to see if it leaks?

Put on the injector lines and crank the truck without the valve covers. It may not be a return line leaking.

I think Ben had a thread about using a mitey vac and an old return line fitting to build a tester.....it would be easier to spot a problem if you pull a vacuume in it....

Glad we could help. Did you pressurize the system as described? Pretty tell tale to find leaks that way..
