Ok, back in May I decided to do the headgasket and studs in my motor, we took the motor out, did studs and gaskets, put it back in and everything seemed fine, 2 days later.........base full of fuel, ok dropped it off at my buddies shop, found a couple injector lines were dirty and probably not seated correctly, ran with no valve covers and couldn't find any leaks, put it back together, seemed fine..........drove it about 600 or so miles and found that there was a minor amount of fuel in the base again. I changed the oil to see if it just was the leftover from the previous time, no luck still getting fuel. We ordered all new return side washers and bolts, now I had been driving it for over a week, went to a truck pull yesterday and loaded a bigger tune to see if I could compete, I noticed a huge loss in power after about 20 miles of driving it, seems like it comes and goes?? Sure enough I pull the dipstick and I have fuel in the base..........
I'm not sure what to do next what to check next? All the balance rates look good and it runs good no skip or misfire? I still have 60-70 psi oil pressure running down the road and 25-30 idling? Is it possible to have a bad injector and still get a good reading? The only other place fuel could get in the oil is by the CP3 right? Going out of my mind!
